Friends,
You might know that Andrew Dodd--better known here as 'Druid in the Lakes'-- has lost his fight with cancer and passed away. He was very popular with both the German and British groups when we all met up at locations used in The Tripods and when we regularly engaged one another in the League of Freemen chat room. He was often the star of those Wednesday evenings! Some of his filming of fan meet ups can be found on YouTube. I loved the one he did for Sven when he visited Friday Street in Dorking, the location that was Wherton village in the programme. His thrill at seeing the pond and cottages was palpable.
The family have supplied an address if you wish to send cards and messages. Please contact me if you want to send something.
Andy was a star and we shall miss him.
