Die dreibeinigen Herrscher

Greetings Freemen.

Well, as you can see, I am once again back on the Internet and it's a real relief not having
to use cybercafes. That said, when I opened my mail box I couldn't believe how many
postings were awaiting me!

On Friday 15th June I am headed off into London to collect the surprise I am planning for
the September meeting and exhibition. Sadly we will not be celebrating the release of the
DVD Boxed Set, but I feel that everyone who attends will be thrilled with what we have in
store. As Jim Baker (Henry Parker) has pointed out, '2-Entertain' now plan the release for
2008.

I have still had no luck in tracking down any camp sites within a convenient travelling
distance from central Brighton. I am considering those of you who will be attending and
who have to rely on public transportation, and needless to say, after our event you will
probably all want to continue socialising well into that Saturday evening. There is nothing
worse than trekking across the map of East Sussex after a wonderful night to get to a
remote and temporary abode.

I have a "Plan B" up my sleeve, but I really need to know how many of you wish to spend a
night under the stars in order to discover whether or not it is viable. If YOU are interested
in camping out at our Freemen Camp, please let me know in a brief e-mail or club
posting; I will then tott up the numbers and see if my plan will work.

My thanks one again goes to Sven who has been hosting our Wednesday chats for the last
couple of weeks and also to Robin Hayter (Fritz Eger) who has been dipping into our
discussions more frequently.

I was saddened to read of one of our valued member's tragic loss and would like to offer
my condolences and best wishes.

Well, that's all from me for this week. I must say that it's nice to be back amongst you all.
Have a lovely weekend.

I took a trip into London yesterday and together with an old "League of Freemen"
Committee member, Stephen Salmon I collected the surprise I have planned for the get-
together on 22nd September.

The item I collected has been with it's owner since 1991 and was obtained directly from a
member of our Tripods family. He tells me that parting with it was a sweet sorrow; sad
that he will no longer be able to see it every day but happy that it has once again found it's
way back to Tripods people. It will now remain in safe keeping until it's reappearance in
September along with our costume and prop exhibition.

I am hoping that I will very shortly be able to announce a secured venue for our meeting
and plans for the Freemen Summer Camp. If all the pieces fall into place the two will be in
close proximity to each other.

Keep watching this space!

Finally, my thanks once again to Sven (Mailhunter) for hosting Wednesday's Chat Room
session on his site. I am told that a good time was had by all who dropped in.

Have a great weekend.

Best wishes,
ADRIAN
